"Carrots"
These carrots were grown inside the Eco-Ag lab with artificial light and
fertilizer fed through the Eco-Ag system. As the planter was only five
inches deep, the carrots quickly began pushing their up and out of the soil.
These carrots grew to normal shape and proportion all while supplied water

feet in height in spite of the shallow planting.

"Purple Top Turnip"
Grown with the Eco-Ag system, this turnip grew so large it exceeded the
potting mix level of the planter in which it was grown. While the turnip
itself grew large, so did the turnip plant with stalks over thirty-six
inches in height. When harvested and extracted for examination, this turnip
plant revealed its weave of fiberous roots all around the small membrane
within the planter.

"Beans"
Grown with the Eco-Ag system, these beans were planted indoors and only had
artificial light. With a normal maturity rate, these bean plants fruited
many beans. As the Eco-Ag was the only means of water and nutrients, these
beans required an extremely low rate of water consumption even through the
fruiting stage. The beans produced by this plant were as robust as the
leaves.
